I love food blogs. I like the ones with good images more. Sometimes, I read them to feel hungry. Some times, I read them to get inspirations for my kitchen experiments. If these experiments do work, I can blog about them in my Italian blog about Indian recipes and brag about my good cooking!

This is my favourite category of blogs. I can spend hours hopping from one photoblog to another. The selection of blogs under this group is very good. It is a really great way to pass time and day dream!

I like travel blogs, especially when they post good pictures as well. I have to travel a lot for work, and increasingly I find the flights and waits at the airports too tiring, though I like once I arrive in a place. Travel blogs allow me to visit places without the bad part of journeys and waiting!

About Best Desi Blogs

Today there are thousands of blogs from and about India. I don't pretend to know all of them. However over the past years, there are some that I like and I go back to them off and on. Some times, when I find new ones that I like, I add them to my list. However, if they are not updated regularly or if they are racist or if they talk in terms that I strongly disagree with (for example, blogs using violence or hate against other religions or ethnic groups or because of persons' sexual orientation), I remove them from my list.

I also don't like when people place their names all over their images, because they are afraid someone else will "steal" them. Use low resolution images (72 or 96 dpi) on your blog, so they can't be used commercially. If some other blog uses them, why get so worked up about it? My suggestion to these persons is, if you must, then place your name discreetly on one corner of the image! If I feel that people are paranoid about their images, I don't include them in my list.

I also avoid blogs that are mainly for supporting some commercial activity.
