World Peace Society (WPS) Promoting peace and harmony among people, Italy
World Peace Society (WPS) aims to bring together persons from Bangladesh, India and Italy in Bologna for promoting mutual understanding, learning, sharing of cultures and religious harmony. WPS collaborates with Sanatan Sanskritik Parishad, the Bengali Association of Bologna, for the organisation of the annual Durga Puja celebrations. It organises language courses in Bengali, Hindi, English and Italian. It works for emigrants from India and Bangladesh facing problems. It also collaborates with other associations and voluntary organisations of Bologna and Emilia Romagna in different cultural and humanitarian initiatives.
