What symbol is this?

This is "Ka", the first consonant of the Sanskrit and Hindi alphabets. It is also the first letter of Kalpana. "Kalpana" means "Imagination".

There are images from Congo Brazzaville, Egypt, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique and South Africa.

There are even more pictures from Italy, since I live here. As expected, maximum number of pictures are from Bologna, but there are many pictures from other parts of the countries, including many well known and some not so well known places.

Images of dances from different countries. I like clicking pictures during dances - the blur of the movements and the challenge of focusing on a moving person, often in little light, does give beautiful images.
